Professional Experience
After managing yachts in the Mediterranean, working CE certifying yachts in the UK and Europe and working for a
spell with another well-known Motorboat surveyor, I started RP Marine Surveys in 2006 and surveyed craft for 4-
years in Chichester and the Solent. Thereafter in 2010 I moved to Devon an have had a full-time yacht surveying
business running out of Dartmouth ever since. I am a full member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors (MIIMS).
Personal
I come from a sailing background and having sailed extensively on my previously owned 41’ yacht on the South Coast,
Atlantic Coasts of Spain and Portugal also extensively in ItaIy, South France, Greece and Turkey. I have now gone to the dark side and currently enjoy my 26’ American Sport Fishing Boat for
family/friends/fishing and watersports mostly in Start Bay out of a Darthaven Marina, Devon near where I live.
